Hello, I’m Daisy. I am originally from Hong Kong and currently based in Austin, Texas. I’m drawn to intricate details and beauty in the ordinary. My work often takes on a mellow, dreamlike tone. I work primarily with fineliners and black colored pencils.At the beginning of 2025 I discovered shuttle tatting. I was captivated by the neat structure and delicate patterns. As I learned tatting on my own, I was introduced to the history of lacemaking, its connection to women, class and status control. This deepened my appreciation, making practicing this craft more precious.
